About

Sitting in the tufted grass of a large field, I quickly rewind my film and put it in my pocket as if collecting cocoons. It has taken me eight miles on a bike to get to this destination, but I crave the adventure and have found many unexpected moments along the way. Continuing on foot, I use all senses to find the next photograph. The sound of swarming insects, yellow and violet flowers, my friend running his fingers over the long blades of grass.
As a photographer, I am always searching for new places that inspire me, and using past memories to guide me. I do not want to doubt myself and never fulfill my adventure. In the words of Jacques Cousteau, "When one man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has the right to keep it to himself." I have an adventure in mind and I believe my photography will always be a part of it.
